KACHINA

Kachina’s Story

Kachina was found in downtown Phoenix by her foster parent’s workplace. This sweet girl is around 2 years old and had no chip or collar. She likely was born on the street based on her weary behavior at first. With her foster parents she has learned how to be a domesticated doggo and over time has let out her full personality!

She really is a sweet, goofy girl who has let out her inner puppy! Being from the streets, she still has an independent mindset, but once she finds her person and has continued training, she’ll be like any other best friend.

Our absolute best guess for her breed is Cavalier King Charles mixed with Chihuahua. What’s great is that she’s friendly with any dog and loves people—especially kids! She doesn’t bark at everything (just to give occasional vocal opinions) and she has learned how to use a doggy door. She is absolutely PERFECT on walks. She's really great in the car and also is great on hikes! She’s ready to have her person love and spoil her. She would be a great family dog.

Although she is super great with other dogs, we do think she should be the only dog in the house so she can fully let her guard down to be her sweet self. She does have a high prey drive, so we do not suggest cats or small mammals.
